It’s London babyyy!! woohoo
Been wanting to visit this place for a looonggg time, I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so visiting London is of course has always been on my bucket list.
I spent around 8 days there, I’m gonna give you a list of the hotels that I’m staying and the places that I went.
Ps: I wrote this article in 2023 and this trip was from 2019, So I might missed some details, but I’ll try my best.
- Accomodation : Z hotel
If you’re not traveling with families, this place is totally recommended! before coming I’ve checked a few airbnbs, however, since it was summer and most airbnbs doesn’t have aircon (the ones that have are crazy expensive or far from the city) I chose to stay at a hotel instead. I stayed at 2 Z hotels, the first one is the one located in Shoreditch, the area is great, it’s close the subway and bus station, very convinient, however the room are relatively small. But if you’re traveling alone (max 2), the hotel is nice. I stayed here on my last days when my friends had left, and the small room actually makes it comfotable for me to stay alone. // Price : 90 pounds per night, yes hotels in London are expensive
The other Z hotel I tried was the more expensive one, the one in Gloucester Place. The location is more prime, hence the price, and the room was also bigger. I stayed with 3 of my friends and the bed still fits. // Price : 128 pounds per night

2. Warner bros studio (or so we call it, Hogwarts)
Remember! for this you have to booked your ticket waaay in advance, It’s always full. I got lucky I booked it 2 weeks before my trip and I got it, maybe because I only bought 1 tix so it’s easier to get. But word of advice, booked it a month before your trip will be better. PLEASE DO VISIT THIS PLACE!
I took a bus from Watford Junction, I almost missed my bus because I was waiting at the wrong place, so make sure to ask around and come at least an hour before your bus schedule. The trip was around 1,5 hour. I went alone so I thought “hmm who’s gonna take my photo for me?” LOL luckily, there’s a girl who’s also went alone, so we decided to take pictures of each other while we’re inside. we don’t really talk much tho, hahaha talk about ‘friends with benefits’
the price for the ticket was 110 GBP, yes it’s considered pricey, but trust me, worth every penny.

3. HAMILTON THE MUSICAL (west end)
This actually a sudden decision that I make while I was there. Initially I wanted to watch Harry Potter and the cursed child of course. But that play is a 2 days play, hence I need to pay twice, and none of my friend wants to go. but I thought you know, I’ll go anyway since I’m already there, butttt then I saw they have Hamilton there (I didn’t know they do), I was dying to see Hamilton, the ticket price in New York is insane and it’s always sold out. I didn’t get a chance to watch it when I was in New York, so I decided to skip Harry Potter and watch Hamilton alone since the price is still acceptable.
And dare I say, it was SPECTACULAR! I mean I know it’s gonna be good since I saw the review and all, but never thought that it’s gonna be THAT good. I think it was a 3 hours show, or less, but not once did I fall asleep (please bear in mind that it was late at night and I was so sleepy) because I watched beauty and the best a few days prior and I fell asleep lol. but yeah, I was very much happy with my decision to watch Hamilton. Next time I’m in London, I’ll make sure to watch the cursed child.

5. Shoreditch
This is probably my favorite area in London. If you’re looking for good food, this is the place. I’m not a vegan, but I definitely can become one in London, because vegan food there is soooo good, and it’s very easy to find. I tried the vegan bibimbap in BOX PARK, it’s like a huge trailer with lots of restaurants inside. a must visit indeed.
we also wen’t to BRICK LANE MARKET where there are lot of food stalls on the street, and all the food there was to die for! love London and it’s food omg

6. Primrose Hill
We went to primrose hill park, oh how I love park. it gives you that soothing feeling just enjoying your day (as long as it’s not too sunny or rainy), when I went there the weather was perfect! it was such a nice day to have a picnic. this park is soooo big but not too crowded. There’s dogs, kids, drunk (but not the too drunk type), and I was with the best company anyone could’ve asked for. spent hours just talking. Overall it was a pleasant day for me

7. Coventry
Went to visit my friends at coventry, I took the train from the London euston station, it was a 1,5 hour ride, pretty quick I say. when I arrived we didn’t get to visit many places, we just went to the old building near my friends’ campus, we went to the museum and see my friends’ uni. I’m not sure if this place is worth the visit if you’re just on a week holiday tho.

Ok folks that’s all for London! If you have any questions, ask away!
Toodles ❤
